I am actually having some what of difficult time figuring out what to write about not because there isn't anything going on but because there is so much happening its difficult to convey the best things without writing something that is to long. So lets just jump straight in, so in the last month a lot has been going on out here in Kona and I want to share a bit of just the craziness of the ministry that we are working with and what the Lord is doing out here on the Big Island. So just a quick bit again my wife and I are working with this ministry called the Leadership Track which is a program that trains and equips missionaries for long-term and life long mission work around the world or even in the USA.
Something else that has been happening among the people we are training is the Lord is growing the lifestyle of unwavering faith in them all. Learning how to not rely on the if "I fee like it" attitude but believing that the Lord has called them into full time ministry and walking out in the gifting's that He has placed in them. It's so incredible to be apart of a group of people like this that in all circumstances and situations they look at what's ahead with faith in their hearts believing that God really wants to change the world.
So moving from a place of faith a part of our training program is that we teach people the power of the simple Gospel that Jesus came He died and rose again so that the world might be reconciled back to God and find true fulfillment in Him. The best part is this simple thing carries the weight of salvation with it and we are seeing the fruit of people being saved regularly. In the past few weeks as a combined group we have seen 5 people come to know the Lord for the first time and this is a thing to be celebrated! 5 new brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of heaven!
I just wanted to share a few things that Lord is doing out here through our staff and through us and what you all are investing prayer and finances in. WE love you all so dearly and are so grateful for all your prayers and support. I am going to post a video in a few days about some more personal testimonies soon.
Blessings,
The Mitchells
